Miramar Ski Club
The
Miramar Ski club proudly announces a unique and exciting opportunity to learn to
downhill ski in a supportive and affordable way through the Barbara Huntley
Novice Downhill Skier Program.
Novice
skiers will be reimbursed up to $75 per day, for a maximum of 3 days on a single
weekend, towards a ski package that includes
lessons, lift tickets and equipment rentals. In addition, an experienced Miramar
mentor will guide the novices through the package routine, provide information,
answer questions and show the lay of the land.
The only requirements are to
take lessons and take our bus to our charming and recently refurbished lodge.
Barbara
Huntley was a dedicated Miramar member and enthusiastic downhill skier. It was
her goal to introduce others to the thrill and exhilaration of the sport so she
generously provided an endowment for this purpose: We are proud of this
wonderful program and invite you to come and join other novices in experiencing
the fun and camaraderie of downhill skiing in a supportive and friendly
environment.
