Club Races

Every year we have one Club Races trip. The next race is Feb 11, 2012 at Sugarbush.

Here's a description from Chip, our Race Chair:

The race will be on Sat at Sugarbush at 10:30 on the NASTAR course on Spring Fling. Each racer will get one run on each of the 2 courses & the fastest time will be used. There are 4 categories including Youth or Snowboard & there is a handicap system, so even first time racers have a chance. The 3 fastest members in each category will receive trophies & everyone, including guests, that places will receive a medal that night. You'll also get a NASTAR pin if your time qualifies. Those that want to race will sign up on the bus Fri night. The club pays for the race, so it's a great opportunity if you've ever wanted to try racing.
