For First Time Trippers

  • Taking the bus from New York City: At the Masonic Hall, go inside to draw a number for your bus seat and to meet your trip leader. from Ramsey, New Jersey: We’ll draw a seat for you.
  • We don’t stop for dinner Friday night. It’s usually a six to seven hour trip, with one 20 minute stop. So you may want to bring "bus food". There is a bathroom on the bus.
  • Skis remain locked on the bus at night. Because of our covered bridge, the bus drops us about one city block from the lodge. Packing light makes carrying easier.
  • Most of our rooms have 2 beds, but we have two 6 - bed rooms.
  • Bring cash for lifts and lunches. Cash/checks for Miramar fees (collected on the bus).
  • Food for vegetarians and non-red meat eaters can be prepared only if you notify the trip leader when making your reservation.
